1. SITUATION

a. Enemy Forces

  1. Bravo Company, 1/7th Cavalry

- U.S. & ROK Forces all accross the DMZ have been swarmed by millions of North Korean Army troops. The Incheon Island Chain was hit by a joint amphibious & airborne invasion, and Alpha Company, 1/7th Cavalry evacuated a number of civilians before retreating to the second island in the Incheon chain. In the wake of the invasions, mass amounts of civilians are fleeing south and clogging the main interstate through the chain. The defenses have been breached along the northern coast of the 2nd Island. 1st Platoon, Alpha Company is to air assault into LZ Baker (119880), where we will be evacuating a high ranking South Korean General's family. From there we will be moving on to destroy several key Fuel and Ammunition dumps before they can fall into enemy hands, then join the general retreat further South to the third Island.

 

2. MISSION

 

- 1st Platoon Alpha Company 1/7th Cavalry Regiment will evacuating four HVTs, then destroying several Fuel and Ammunition caches in accordance with the South Korean scorched Earth policy.

 

- 71st Company, 145th Aviation Battalion will be transporting 1st Platoon, providing reinserts/medevacs, and emergency CAS.

 

- SFOD-A7111 will be acting as OpFor.

 

- Friendly forces have set up defenses at Phase Line Yankee and Phase Line Zulu, on either end of the bridge connecting the Islands. 

 

3. EXECUTION

PHASE I - Movement

 

a. We have a limited window for arieal operations on this one. U.S. Air Forces are severely under strength & they cannot provide around the clock air coverage. We will have air craft running CAP from 2000 IGT to 2150 IGT. All helicopters will be grounded at 2150 IGT.

b. At 2030 IGT 1st Platoon will air assault into LZ Baker (199880).

c. 1st Platoon will then move out on foot from the LZ to the General's Villa at (119885).

PHASE II - HVT

 

a. By 2045 IGT, 1st Squad will secure a perimeter around the Villa, while 2nd Squad locates the four HVTs.

b. HVTs are four Adult Males in suits. 2nd Squad will secure them, and move the civilians to the center of the compound.

c. Rattler 1-1 will then land at the villa, HVTs will be loaded upon the bird and evacuated South.

d. 1st Platoon will move onto Phase III.

PHASE III - Scorched Earth

 

a. 1st Platoon will push out from the Villa by 2100 IGT.

b. 1st Squad will secure Objective Alpha, once secure 1st Squad will destroy any vehicles that were abandoned by Korean troops in the vehicle Depot at Objective Alpha, and will push on to secure Objective Bravo and destroy a strategic fuel reserve. 

c. 2nd Squad will secure Objective Charlie and will burn and shred any documentation or sensitive Intel on site. 2nd Squad will then move to secure Objective Delta, and will destroy ammunition stores on site. 

d. After completing all objectives squads will move onto Phase IV.

PHASE IV - General Retreat

a. 1st and 2nd Squads will rendezvous at LZ Lima for extraction via Rattler 1-1. 

b. All aircraft are to be grounded at 2150 IGT, if 1st or 2nd Squad fail to reach the LZ before the Window closes, they will be forced to retreat across Phase Line Zulu via foot.

c. After all ground forces have crossed Phase Line Zulu and reached Airbase K-16, S-3 will call ENDEX. 

 

 

**Special Instructions**

- All requests for fire will come to the Platoon Leader first.

- Reinserts will not be Via teleport. Be very careful. If you die, Reinserts will be done via helicopter, and will take some time.

- There will be a high number of civilians fleeing south, avoid civilian casualties at all costs.
