Kauffman Posted January 30, 2021 Share Posted January 30, 2021 Operation Order Operation Enduring Freedom 007 Afghanistan - Kunduz - 2014 ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ OPERATION TIME: 1900 EST IN-GAME TIME: 0430 Zulu Time ORGANIZATION: 1. REGION: Kunduz Afghanistan 2. WEATHER: Clear, 70F (21C); Wind 3kn NNW; Dawn 0610 IGT; Dusk 1845 IGT 3. TERRAIN: Hills, Rural Countryside ___________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ 1. SITUATION: Following on from the presence patrol 1st Cavalry Division performed into the village of Kar Shek a large number of Taliban forces have been attacking FOB Prince relentlessly for the past week. The unit have suffered multiple casualties and KIA's. With no end in sight, SF units were called in to strike strategic locations in the area in hope that this would disrupt the Taliban's attacks. This however, has come at a cost, and an SF unit has gone missing, as well as the insertion helicopter they were in. With little intelligence as to where the unit is hopes are fading of finding them alive, their last GPS locations were from 2 days ago. Nothing has been heard from the unit since and the GPS trackers have now stopped working. Although under heavy attack the only units in the area are the 1st Cavalry Division, running low on supplies and ammunition. The British Royal Marines stationed 35KM to the North are unable to provide ground assistance as they are in the same situation. a. 2000s - Rules of Engagement On order from your commander, enemy military and paramilitary forces are declared hostile and may be attacked subject to the following instructions: Positive Identification (PID) is required prior to engagement. PID is a reasonable certainty that the proposed target is a legitimate military target. If no PID, contact your next highest commander for decision. Do not engage anyone who has surrendered, or is unarmed or wounded. Any requests for fire support or close air support within 600 Meters of a civilian center must first get authorization from commanding officer. 2. MISSION 1st Platoon is tasked with finding the downed helicopter and lost patrol. GPS last reports the position in the Village of Tal Kar (OBJ Alpha). Return the bodies to their families and retrieve any wounded. You are then to move to Anbar Tappeh (OBJ Bravo), a known Taliban stronghold in the area and deny the Taliban use of the area. 3. EXECUTION MAP OF THE AO [image][/image] PHASE I - Insertion a. At 1400 Zulu Time, 1st Platoon will load into the server. b. At 1430, 1st Platoon will load into UH-60 blackhawks, and fly to LZ Lee. c. Upon reaching LZ Lee, 1st Platoon will move southeast towards WP 1. PHASE II - OBJ Alpha a. 1st Platoon will follow Waypoints and begin clearing out the villages northwest of OBJ Alpha, sweeping towards the southeast, until we have located the downed bird, and retriving the dead green berets. b. 1st Squad will be clearing Zones marked in Red, while 2nd Squad will be clearing zones marked in blue. Squads will push together, making sure to stay on-line with one another. c. Once the bird has been found, 1st Platoon will establish a perimeter, and assess the situation. d. Once located, we will establish a secured LZ, and fly the dead out and rig the remaining US military equipment to blow. e. Once the dead have been evacuated, 1st Platoon will hold the LZ for extract back to FOB Prince. f. 1st Platoon will rearm at FOB Prince and prepare for Phase III. PHASE III - OBJ Bravo a. 1st Platoon will rearm, and then move north towards the bridge. b. 1st Platoon will cross the bridge and begin moving towards OP 3, to get eyes on the taliban stronghold in the village of Antar Tapper. c. 1st Platoon in-coorindation with rattler elements will then begin an assault from the south of the objective. PHASE IV - Extraction a. Once the village is secured, 1st Platoon will establish security, and search for enemy caches and intel. b. 1st Platoon will then call for extract from OBJ Bravo. If you die, it may be some time before you are returned to the fight, so be careful. - All members will carry 1 x Personal Aid Kit, 1 x 500ml Blood, 1 x Incendiary Grenade 4.
