SITUATION: On Friday, October 15th, a UH-60 Blackhawk was shot down by a MANPAD somewhere near the towns of Nestau and Batensen after extracting a reconnaissance unit. UAV feeds suggest some aircrew members may have survived the crash after viewing Soviet personnel loading two incapacitated Americans into vehicles and driving into the town of Batensen. It is believed the aircrew members are being held captive and treated for their wounds in the town before being transported further behind enemy lines. Additionally, Intelligence indicates the presence of several artillery emplacements just outside the town, which stand as a substantial threat to friendly forces back on the front.
