Grorud Posted July 22, 2018 Share Posted July 22, 2018 This is a 3x90 minute series about the story of five German friends, aged around 20, on their different paths through Nazi Germany and World War II: as Wehrmacht soldiers on the Eastern Front, a war nurse, an aspiring singer, and a Jewish tailor. It's a commission of the German national broadcasting organization ZDF, and is in German (English text available)It has a grand depiction of the fighting on the eastern front, but it still has it's flaws.
