Enemy Forces National Liberation Front b. Friendly Forces Army of Republic of Vietnam - ARVN CIDG Montagnards - CIDG 2. MISSION -Reconnaissance Team Iowa will be inserted back into Laos at LZ French. Reconnaissance Teams Alaska and Louisiana will evade capture by moving south to rendezvous with RT Iowa along the Xe Khong River. - All three teams will then reconnoiter their respective primary and secondary objectives noted from Aerial observation. - Once the downed Pilot has been located at one of the three objectives, each team will coordinate and execute a raid on a strategic objective or the compound containing the pilot. -71st Company, 145th Aviation Battalion will be inserting RT Iowa at LZ French. 3. EXECUTION PHASE I - Xe Khong Delta a. Upon load in, teams will be teleport ed to their respective camps. RT Iowa will flown to LZ French (041066). c. RT Alaska will will move from Camp (076065) to Phase Line Green (069047) at 1630 in-game time. At Phase Line Green, RT Alaska will recon the cove at (068043) and the Buddhist Temple (074039). b. RT Iowa will will move from LZ French (058085) to Phase Line Red (057089)at 1630 in-game time. At Phase Line Red, RT Iowa will recon the village at (050052) and the Temple (047057). d. RT Louisiana will will move from camp (067066) to Phase Line Blue (064052)at 1630 in-game time. At Phase Line Blue, RT Louisiana will recon the village at (059044) and the Village at (065048). d. Once the Pilot & other Strategic targets/instalations are located along the Xe Khong River. Teams will conduct simultaneous raids. e. Once the team with the pilot has him in custody, that team will immediately find and LZ. From there Rattler 1-1 will extract the POW. f. The other teams will rig & detonate/booby trap any resources they find. PHASE II - Evasion a. All teams will then push south and set up camps/Ops in the hills south of the Xe Khong River Delta. b. Expect to be perused from a large force. c. Endex will not be immediate. Teams will have to shake any following patrols. **Special Instructions** - Evade Capture. MISSION -Reconnaissance Teams Iowa and Alaska are to move out from their camps at 05:45 and rally at the supply drop(057089). From there RT Alaska and Iowa will conduct a coordinated raid on the town of Thai Son, then will move to neutralize the port of Mong An. -71st Company, 145th Aviation Battalion will not be flying this morning. 3. EXECUTION PHASE I - Thai Son a. Upon load in, teams will be teleport ed to their respective camps. b. RT Iowa will will move from Camp (058085) and move to the supply drop (057089). c. RT Alaska will move from Camp (064085) and move to the supply drop (057089). d. Both Teams will resupply and equip suppressors. d. PHASE II - Mong An a. RT Alaska will rig any strategic resources with explosives. Then both teams will proceed to PL Bourbon. b. From PL Bourbon, RT Iowa and RT Alaska will move to PL Whiskey and observe Mong An from there. c. Then RT Alaska will move to PL Rye and set up overwatch. RT Iowa will move to PL Scotch. d. From there RT Alaska and Iowa will rally at RP Spanish and conduct a coordinated raid on Tan Lap base, set an ambush up for reinforcing NLF forces, then melt away into the country side. -71st Company, 145th Aviation Battalion will insert RT Iowa. 3. EXECUTION PHASE I - Movement from Cong Ty Airbase, into Laos a. Upon load in, RT Iowa will resupply, bringing extra explosives and clay more mines. b. RT Iowa will be inserted into the AO at LZ Bristol (077062) and move to Rally Point Spanish (076065). c. RT Alaska will move from Camp (071065) to Rally Point Spanish (076065). d. Both Teams will move from RP Spanish (076065) to Phase Line Green (073071). They will Arrive by 0600. e. From Phase Line Green (073071), RP Alaska will push west, once at Phase Line Purple (066072), Alaska will push due North. From Phase Line Green (073071), RP Iowa will push North West to Phase Line Red, then push west to Phase Line Yellow (068076 )and set up in overwatch on Tan Lap Base, by 0615. PHASE II - Execution a. At 0615, RT Iowa will engage enemy combatants along the perimeter, signaling the start of the engagement. c. At 0615, RT Alaska will eliminate enemy guards on the South Eastern perimeter, then will move North, Along the Eastern Wall of Tan Lap base. d. RT Alaska will enter the compound on the Eastern Entrance, and will begin clearing the compound. e. RT Iowa will cover RT Alaska as they clear the compound. f. Once Clear RT Alaska will rig any strategic resources will explosives **using detonators as opposed to timers**. PHASE III - Ambush a. Once RT Alaska radios that they have begun setting charges, RT Iowa will move to Phase Line Whiskey and Phase Line Rum. b. Once there RT Iowa will set up a hasty ambush to defend against possible counter attack along the road, or the NLF Patrol stationed at the NLF Listening Post (061083). PHASE IV - Evasion a. Once RT Alaska finishes setting charges, RT Alaska will move to Phase Line Yellow and will set up overwatch. b. RT Iowa will then break contact, if there was any at all, and pull back to Phase Line Yellow. RT Iowa will move South from Phase Line Yellow, and halt at Phase Line White (069066). c. MISSION -Reconnaissance Teams Alaska and Iowa are to move out from Cong Ty Airforce base and be fly into the LZ Morgan at 05:00. From there RT Alaska and Iowa will reconnoiter and conduct coordinated raids in south eastern Laos. -71st Company, 145th Aviation Battalion will insert both RT Teams, and then conduct Ariel reconnaissance in the region, as preparation for a future strategic bombing campaign. 3. EXECUTION PHASE I - Movement from Cong Ty Airbase, into Laos a. Upon load in, teams will load up with extra ammunition, grenades, explosives, in preparation for a several week trip into Laos. b. RT Alaska will insert via to LZ Alpha and move to Rally Point Whiskey c. RT Iowa will insert to LZ Alpha and move to Rally Point Bourbon PHASE II - Reconnaissance a. RT Alaska will move from Rally Point Whiskey to Phase line Red, where they will begin to reconnoiter the area. b. RT Iowa will move from Rally Point Bourbon to Phase Line Blue, where they will begin to reconnoiter the area. c. After reaching these respective phase lines, Recon Teams will commence reconnaissance patrols in an attempt to map the Ho Chi Min Trail & locate strategic targets along the trail. PHASE III - Execution a. After mapping out the AO, each Recon Team will conduct coordinated raids, ambushes, or "booby-trap" any strategic targets that have been located. b. After executing hit and run raids, RT teams will leave the AO with haste. PHASE IV - Evasion a. After exiting the AO, each team will evade any pursuing enemy patrols. b. Each team will then find a concealed location in the bush to set up camp. c. ENDEX **Special Instructions** - Try to map the Ho Chi Ming trail. - Map and note patrol patterns.
