Tonight we will be landing in the Dutch countryside, and will be liberating a small village, as well as a very large village. We will attempt to get in contact with the locals and attempt to pinpoint the location of a German training facility and neutralize it, and establish Battalion HQ to act as our base of Operations for further missions. a. Enemy Disposition Our intelligence of the area is poor, but we believe the force in Holland mainly to be a garrison force of young untrained boys, and old-aged veterans of the first World War, without armor or mechanized support. b. Our rallying point will be the southern shore of a cluster of lakes on the southern edge of the forest. From there 1st Platoon will push North to the forest village of Zawidza. We will investigate and hope to get in contact with local villagers. From there we will gather any intelligence and push on to the larger town of Sa along Omaha beach and will breach the Atlantic Wall at all costs. Once on the beach, there is no going back. We will clear a series of bunkers atop a large cliff overlooking our sector. After clearing the immediate defenses, we will push inland to locate an artillery battery spotted on Ariel surveillance, once we've located these guns, we will neutralize them as quickly as possible so that the 1st Infantry Division is not hammered with heavy fire for too long. Maps of the AO: Map of the AO: Map of 1st Platoon, A Co., 1/7th Cav AO: Map of 71st AHC's Targets: Notes from Commander: All requests for Close Air Support/Medevac/Resupply/Insertion are to go to Mako 1-6 on FREQ 40.0.
