Update to our Repo Names

Attention Members of 1st Cavalry Division

There has been an update to our Repo Names

When we first launched the location based repos (EU/US) we had a vision of having 3 repos on each location, the repos named at the time in what we thought was the best way. We have slowly realised that the naming convention is now confusing and does not actually represent what repo holds what modset etc. As of today we have now changed the names of the repo's to better reflect what modset is in which repo. The below changes have taken place.

EU Repo
1stCav EU Base Mods - This has now been renamed to 1stCav Modern Mods

1stCav EU Ops Mods - This has now been renamed to 1stCav WW2 Mods

1stCav EU Unsung Mods - This has now been renamed to 1stCav Unsung Mods

US Repo

1stCav US Base Mods - This has now been renamed to 1stCav Modern Mods

1stCav US Ops Mods - This has now been renamed to 1stCav WW2 Mods

1stCav US Unsung Mods - This has now been renamed to 1stCav Unsung Mods

 

You will now see that we have named them in a better fashion, as well as remove the location from the Repo name, the reason for this is if one of the repo's ever goes down, then you can easily switch just the URL in ArmA3Sync and it will remain synchronised at the other location. This prevents you needing to add each repo from each location. 

What you NEED to do now to stay up to date is to go to your ArmA3Sync and remove all the old repo names, and follow this guide to re-add them back in. You will NOT have to redownload everything, ArmA3Sync will see the already downloaded mods and synchronise correctly.
