  1. Date: November 15th, 1965 Location: Chu Pong Massif, Vietnam Time: 21:40 CDT (Time of publish) Situation: After holding LZ Xray, you have established a clear foothold in the area. The situation now is to hold it until we can march infantry to reinforce you. Execution: One platoon is already cut off, hold the LZ as long as possible. If the opportunity arised try to counter attack when your reinforcements get close. We need these NVA out of South Vietnam. Support: UH-1H AH-1H 24 - 155mm Howitzers
  2. Date: November 13th, 1965 Location: Chu Pong Massif, Vietnam Time: 16:45 CDT (Time of publish) Situation: Three regiments of the North Vietnamese Army are positioned near the Chu Pong Massif. We Believe that the 66th, 33rd, and 32nd regiments are positioned to thrust into south Vietnam from the Cambodian border. Execution: The 3rd Brigade of the 7th cavalry will land at LZ X-ray and secure this LZ for further reinforcements. The landing zone will provide a defence against the NVA threat and will act as a shield until ground forces can be diverted to assist against any push made by these regiments. Support: UH-1H AH-1H 24 - 155mm Howitzers

  5. Date: August 9th, 1964 Location: Laos Time: 17:30 CDT (Time of publish) Situation: The time for recon and destruction of key targets on the Ho Chi Minh trail have drawn to a close. Any teams still in the field are instructed to move to a suitable location for extract. Execution: From their last positions the teams are instructed to wait for pickup or move West to a suitable location to be extracted from the country of Laos. If under fire the helicopters will be instructed to wave off as we can not afford to lose such equipment. Especially considering that the teams are not even supposed to be there in the first place. Once at a suitable location radio HQ for further instructions over a specific frequency that will change with each passing half hour. This is done in the hopes that if the enemy is listening we can coordinate a pickup without the use of smoke, to keep things surreptitious, by limiting the chances of them listening in on known frequencies. If you come under heavy fire it is advised that you either evade or ,under the last possible measure, call for help via gunship support and rescue. HQ may not give the go ahead... Support: Helicopters for extract and fire support
  6. Date: august 2nd, 1964 Location: Laos Time: 11:09 CDT (Time of publish) Situation: The pilot was obtained from the objective last operation. However, he was not extracted and this will be the first objective of the next mission. Along side ambushing any troop movement suspected to be looking for the pilot, the evac chopper, or any RTs. Execution: We plan to have the pilot extracted as soon as possible from the region. The team that has the pilot will locate a suitable location for a landing zone. From there, the pilot will be taken out of country. As the chopper come to pick the pilot up he will simultaneously drop off mines and ammo for ambushes to be performed along the trail Support: 1x Huey for early recon and ammo
  7. Date: June 26st, 1964 Location: Laos Time: 9:52 EST (Time of publish) Situation: All teams successfully completed their objectives. Now the two remaining teams have to strategically withdraw from the northern region. We do not believe the enemy will use it in the near future. The remaining teams in the field with move to the south to link up with a newly inserted team tasked with searching for likely locations of a shot down pilot, who dropped in your resupply not long ago. Execution: We have taken a photo of the area and highlighted key locations we suspect to be where they took the downed pilot. Iowa, who will be inserted close to the southern border, will find these locations and give it their best assessment from the ground. The remaining teams will escape capture and evade patrols on their way to Iowa. Then is it up to RTs to decide how to capture the pilot. Support: X
  8. Date: June 21st, 1964 Location: Laos Time: 1538z Situation: After completing a successful raid into Tan Lap Base RT Alaska and Iowa were driven off, and retreated back into the jungle. The fighters encountered were part of a new wave of reinforcements brought in to Mong An. They are perhaps trying to retake the town of Thai Son, and extending there reach along a new trail to the south. Execution: The teams will conduct raids on the remaining targets at their discretion. There has been a supply drop during one of the nights following the raid at Tan Lap. HQ thought it wise to drop the teams silencers and more explosives and ammo in supply drop. The teams will locate the drop, move into position, and use the new assets to their advantage. The priority target will be Mong An. Thai Son is secondary. Support: X
  9. Date: June 11th, 1964 Location: Laos Time: 2310z Situation: After completing a quick recon of the targets on the Ho Chi Minh Trail, recon teams Alaska and Iowa had destroyed many of their intended targets. Enemy presence along the trail is expected to be increased even further. We expect quite the influx of fighters to Tan Lap Base following the destruction of the three targets along the trail hit the previous week. Expect an increase in patrol sizes and lethality, along with a boost of enemy presence as they try to hunt you down. Execution: The teams will conduct raids on the remaining targets at their discretion. However, if Tan Lap Base is allowed to bring more troops to the region, from a small coastal port, enemy troop operations will make further missions into the area impossible. Since Alaska remains in the field they must locate a suitable LZ for RT Iowa to be reinserted after last weeks ex-filtration. Support: Satellite imagery and high altitude photo reconnaissance.
  10. Date: June 6th, 1964 Location: Laos Time: 0800 Situation: After completing their recon of the assigned sections of the Ho Chi Minh Trail, recon teams Alaska and Iowa had a successful mission. Enemy presence along the trail is expected to be increased following the destruction of a large supply depot, destroyed by RT Iowa. expect an increase in patrols and security around important stops along the trail. Execution: The teams will conduct further reconnaissance, from their camps, and raids along the trail. This time teams will rendezvous and conduct coordinated strikes along specific locations on the trail of their choice. It is recommended that a further investigation, or raid, into Tan Lap base be the primary objective of your next action in Laos. Support: Heavy artillery and observation planes. Possible, Huey gunship support.
