    2. MISSION

    - After last weeks raids, the NLF have in fluxed heavily into the area. They have fortified the supply depot of Xuan Bai, and appear to be transporting their stores of supplies further west due to our recent activity in the vicinity. Xuan Bai is to recieve a mechanized platoon as reinforcements, once there, Xuan Bai will be too heavily fortified for a direct assault. Our only option is to stage a series of ambushes along the trail in hopes of neutralizing the mechanized platoon before they reach Xuan Bai. The NLF have already moved and stored a decent amount of supplies at the village of Nam Cao. After these two targets are neutralized, both teams will move to assault Xaun Bai and then evade across the Xe Khong River to the south.

    b. RT Iowa will  will move from LZ Cancun (074039) to Phase Line Bravo (058035).    At Phase Line Bravo, RT Iowa will recon the supply depot, wait for the troop convoy to pass, then mine the approaches to the depot to block any armored or mechanized reinforcements. RT Iowa will then immediately assault the Supply Depot.
