Governor Lars Fause stresses that neither the Norwegian state nor the Governor are parties to the case. We have intel that the Russian FSB and/or possibly VDV are moving to Svalbard to free Professor Molchanov. MISSION NAME: Rescue the survivors MAP NAME: Bukovina TOO: Around 0200 WEATHER: Cloudy with a chance of showers. Possible Lighting/Thunder ASSETS: 3 Man UH-60 Crew team. 1 Pilot and 2 Crewman ( Known as Survivors ) MODE OF TRANSPORTATION: 2X M1220 M2 RESTRICTIONS: All Players will have a max Combination of 8 medical Bandages. Survivor Squad will not have LR or SR Capabilities. They will be Switched to Independent Side so as to not be able to share map data with main force of players. Survivor Squad weaponry will be restricted to Short Barrel M4's and MP5's plus pistol side arms. Use of Thermals are prohibited. NVG's authorized. MISSION SYNPOSIS: A UH-60 has crash landed to the North East of the airfield. We have narrowed down the search area to GRID 0303. Hostile forces in the area are expected to close in on the crash sight and recover the aircraft and its crew. The Local populace is not friendly toward BLU forces and engagements and ambushes enroute are expected. MISSION OBJECTIVES: SECURE CRASH SITE AND OBTAIN CLASSIFIED FLIGHT DATA SCUTTLE AIRCRAFT LOCATE AND SECURE SURVIVING CREW EXTRACT FROM HOSTILE ZONE AND RETURN TO START POINT SECONDARY OBJECTIVE: IF ALL 3 MEMBERS OF THE CREW ARE DEAD AT THE SAME TIME RECOVER THE BODIES OF THE CREW AND EXTRACT. TERTIARY OBJECTIVES: ELIMINATE ALL HOSTILE FORCES THAT COME INTO CONTACT MISSION NOTES: The 3 man special squad will be separated from the main force at spawn. They will be granted a seperate Arsenal and immediatly placed on the Independent side. They will NOT be able to brief or Discuss plans with Main force. SURVIVOR squad will not be able to use radios to contact the main force. Survivor squad are authorized 40 mil Underslung and RED, BLUE and WHITE flares. If at any point All 3 members of the SURVIVOR squad are KIA they will be respawns as regular rifleman and will join the main force. This will be considered a Primary Objective failure and main force will switch over to secondary objectives.

For our first operation, we will be infiltrating Taliban-Controlled, Takistan Province, Afghanistan, to capture a high-ranking Taliban logistics lieutenant ALIVE, who holds the location of the highly sensitive coalition weapons seized during the withdrawal.

Operation 008 - After weeks of fighting & civil action missions, 1st Platoon has stabilized the situation in Sei Na and Kouthi. After conducting search and destroy missions to the east, it has become clear that communist influence has swept the entire valley. Battalion and district headquarters are allocating more resources to the pacification of the valley. American assets in the area are tied up with a developing situation further south. General Nguyen Duc Thang of District headquarters is allocating a rifle platoon from his 14th Battalion as well as a unit from the Revolutionary Development Corps (RD), youth volunteers tasked with construction efforts in Sei Na, Kouthi, and Nase. In order to ensure the stability of the valley, 1st Platoon will conduct reconnaissance and raid the located Communist Party Prisoner/Reeducation camp, in an attempt to rescue many of the district officials from the neighboring village of Nase and will reinstall them to secure the eastern flank of Sei Na and Kouthi.
