1. Acceptance of Terms

1st Cavalry Division (“we”, “us”, “the Division”, or “the unit”) is a gaming and milsim community. By accessing or using our website and related community services—including linked PERSCOM features where you use them, and our Discord community via invite links we publish—you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the service.

2. Use of the Service

We grant you a limited, personal, non-commercial right to use the website and unit materials for participating in our community (for example roster, campaigns, gallery, messaging, forms, and related tools). This is a licence to use the service, not a transfer of ownership. You may not:

• use site content or unit materials for commercial purposes without our permission
• copy, scrape, or redistribute substantial parts of the service or member data outside normal community use
• attempt to break into, disrupt, or reverse-engineer the service
• remove copyright or other proprietary notices from materials we publish

3. User Accounts

You must be at least 16 years old to create an account. When you register, you must provide information that is accurate, complete, and kept up to date.

You are responsible for safeguarding your password and any second factors you enable (such as authenticator apps or passkeys), and for activity under your account. Do not share your credentials with others. Notify us promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.

4. Prohibited Uses

You may not use our service:

• For any unlawful purpose or to solicit others to perform unlawful acts
• To violate applicable laws or regulations
• To infringe our intellectual property rights or those of others
• To harass, abuse, insult, harm, defame, intimidate, or discriminate
• To submit false or misleading information
• To upload or transmit viruses or other malicious code
• To spam, phish, scrape, or similarly abuse the service
• For any obscene or immoral purpose
• To interfere with or circumvent security features of the service
• If you hold AdminCP or other elevated permissions, to misuse those tools (for example accessing or changing others’ data without a legitimate community moderation or support reason)

5. Content

Our service lets you post, link, store, share, or otherwise make available information, text, graphics, videos, or other material (“Content”)—for example gallery uploads, messages, forms, and operation reports. You are responsible for Content you submit, including its legality, reliability, and appropriateness.

By posting Content, you grant us a licence to use, display, reproduce, and distribute that Content on and through the service as needed to operate the community (including moderation and backups).

6. Privacy Policy

Your privacy matters to us. Please read our Privacy Policy, which also governs your use of the service and explains how we handle personal data.

7. Termination

We may suspend or remove your access to the service, without prior notice, if you breach these Terms, for community safety, or for other reasons we reasonably decide are necessary to run the unit fairly.

If you wish to stop using the service, stop accessing it and, if you want your account removed, use the account or GDPR deletion options we provide, or contact us as described below. Simply leaving the site does not always delete stored account data.

8. Disclaimer

The website and related services are provided by a volunteer gaming community on an “as is” and “as available” basis. To the fullest extent permitted by law, we:

• exclude all representations and warranties relating to this website and its contents
• exclude liability for damages arising out of or in connection with your use of this website, except where we cannot exclude liability by law

9. Governing Law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. You agree that the courts of England and Wales have exclusive jurisdiction over disputes arising from these terms, subject to any mandatory rights you have under applicable law.

10. Changes to Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When a change is material, we will try to give reasonable notice (for example by updating the “Last updated” date on this page and, where practical, other community channels) before the new terms apply.

By continuing to use the service after revised terms take effect, you agree to the updated Terms.
