Lieutenant Colonel (LTCOL)

Lieutenant Colonel is the fifth Officer rank in the 1st Cavalry Division. Personnel in this rank usually lead an HQ element.

Prerequisites:
150 Promotion Points + Leadership. 200 days TIG.

Major (MAJ)

Description:
Major is the fourth Officer rank in the 1st Cavalry Division. Personnel in this rank usually lead an HQ element.

Prerequisites:
140 Promotion Points + Leadership. 200 days TIG.

Captain (CPT)

Captain
Description:
Captain is the third Officer rank in the 1st Cavalry Division. Personnel in this rank usually lead a Platoon or HQ element.

Prerequisites:
120 Promotion Points + Leadership. 200 days TIG

First Lieutenant (1LT)

First Lieutenant
Description:
First Lieutenant is the second Officer rank in the 1st Cavalry Division. Personnel in this rank usually lead a Platoon.

Prerequisites:
90 Promotion Points + Leadership. 180 days TIG.

Second Lieutenant (2LT)

Second Lieutenant
Description:
A Second Lieutenant in the 1st Cavalry Division is the first rank at which you are considered an Officer. Personnel that hold this rank usually lead a Platoon or are in charge of a branch.

Prerequisites:
80 Promotion points + Leadership. 160 days TIG.

Chief Warrant Officer 5 (CW5)

Personnel that have this rank are Pilots in the 71st Aviation Company.

Prerequisites:
100 Promotion Points. Skill growth will be assessed.

Chief Warrant Officer 4 (CW4)

Personnel that have this rank are Pilots in the 71st Aviation Company.

Prerequisites:
60 Promotion Points. Skill growth will be assessed.

Chief Warrant Officer 3 (CW3)

Personnel that have this rank are Pilots in the 71st Aviation Company.

Prerequisites:
40 Promotion Points. Skill growth will be assessed.

Chief Warrant Officer 2 (CW2)

Warrant Officer (WO1)

Warrant Officer
Description:
A Warrant Officer in 71st Aviation Company is a fully trained and qualified Huey Pilot in the 71st Aviation Company.

Prerequisites:
To get this rank, you must have

1. Been accepted into the 71st Aviation Company via a tryout
2. Went through at least 2 weeks of being in 71st Aviation Company
3. Passed the 71st Aviation Company Flight School.

Warrant Officer Candidate (WOC)

Warrant Officer Candidate
Description:
A Warrant Officer Candidate in 71st Aviation Company is a rotary wing pilot currently in training to be qualified on the UH-1D air frame as well as many others. Upon completion of 71st Aviation Company Flight School, a Warrant Officer Candidate will be promoted to Warrant Officer Grade 1.

Prerequisites:
To get this rank you must been accepted into the 71st Aviation Company Flight Program.

First Sergeant (SGM)

First Sergeant
Description:
A First Sergeant in the 1st Cavalry Division is a senior NCO. Can hold a number of positions.

Prerequisites:
70 Promotion Points + Leadership. 160 days TIG.

Master Sergeant (MSG)

Master Sergeant
Description:
A Master Sergeant in the 1st Cavalry Division is a senior NCO. Can hold a number of positions.

Prerequisites:
60 Promotion Points + Leadership. 120 days TIG.

Sergeant First Class (SFC)

Sergeant First Class
Description:
The Sergeant First Class is a Senior NCO in the 1st Cavalry Division. Usually acting a Platoon Sergeant and assistant to the Platoon Leader.

Prerequisites:
50 Promotion Points + Leadership. 90 days TIG.

Staff Sergeant (SSG)

Staff Sergeant
Description:
A Staff Sergeant in the 1st Cavalry Division is an NCO. Usually a squad leader.

Prerequisites:
40 Promotion Points + Leadership. 60 days TIG.

Sergeant (SGT)

A Sergeant is an NCO in the 1st Cavalry Division. Usually leads a fireteam or a squad.

Prerequisites:
30 Promotion Points + Leadership. 50 days TIG.

Corporal (CPL)

A Corporal is a Junior NCO in the 1st Cavalry Division. Usually leads a fireteam.

Prerequisites:
25 Promotion Points + Leadership. 40 days TIG.

Specialist (SPC)

Specialist
Description:
A Specialist is the Maximum Rank a member of the 1st Cavalry Division can be without holding a leadership position. To advance from here, you should start thinking about leading a fireteam. There is also a system in place to continue through different SPC ranks. Contact your FTL about how this works.

20 Promotion Points. 40 days TIG.

Private First Class (PFC)

Description:
A Private First Class is an enlisted soldier in the 1st Cavalry Division. This is the Rank at which you can begin to look at other branches to join.

15 Promotion Points. 25 days TIG (Time in Grade)

Private 2 (PV2)

Private 2
Description:
An Enlisted Soldier of the 1st Cavalry Division

Prerequisites:
To gain the rank of PV2, you must pass Basic Combat Training.

Private (PVT)

Private
Description:
An entry-level Enlisted Soldier in the 1st Cavalry Division

Prerequisites:
To gain this rank, you must be accepted into the 1st Cavalry Division.

Retired (RET)

Retired
Description:
Members of this rank have retired from the unit

Prerequisites:
Must be Honorably Retired from the unit.

Discharged (DISCH)

Discharged
Discharged Members.
