REGION: North Vietnam, Laos, Cambodia 2. WEATHER: Clear Skies; 38F ; Wind <1kn NNE; Dawn 0415 IGT; Dusk 1900 IGT 3. TERRAIN: Mountains, Highlands, Jungle, Rolling plains Saigon has ordered RT Crusader to enter DM-08 and coordinate an air strike on the Bridge & Camp at Grids 049152. After this, RT Crusader will enter the area and gather a BDA on the targets. From here RT Crusader will penetrate the interior of the target box and attempt to locate the regimental HQ. According to our statisticians, you will have less than an hour to gather intel before you are spotted. By this point Saigon wants you to attempt to draw out high concentrations of enemy forces just before extract, so that the Air Force may generate a large body count. a. Enemy Disposition Massive disposition of North Vietnamese Regulars Small Anti-recon teams hunting for American Recon Teams Large Units of PAVN Regulars acting as quick reaction forces Static Anti-Air Supply and Logistics units operating in the area b. Mako 1-6 will contact Rattler 1-6 on FREQ 50.0 to request an asset to assist 1st Platoon as necessary. Once the asset is in the area of Operation for Mako 1-6, Infantry can contact the bird via CAS Net FREQ 45.0 to guide in the bird/direct close air support. If an infantry element is in threat of being overrun and requires immediate assistance, they may declare a "Tactical Emergency" to Mako 1-6, who will then have Rattler 1-6 redirect all available air assets to Mako 1-6's Area of Operation to prevent the unit from being overrun. Expect the enemy to utilize grenades when in close combat. After generating a BDA on the target, RT Crusader will penetrate the interior of the target box and conduct area recon, in an attempt to finally locate the illusive regimental HQ. Once ready for extract, RT Crusader will move to a defendable location and attempt to draw out high volumes of enemy fighters, while the Air Force neutralizes them from above. 71st Assault Helicopter Company R71st AHC is to provide transport for RT Asp & RT Crusader.
