Security Alert: CPU Vulnerability Found

As you may have heard in the news a major security Vulnerability has been found in Intel, ARM and some AMD's CPU's. This affects any Intel CPU's from 2010 onward but may also affect CPU's prior to that date. Microsoft are releasing an update for this later on today, however, this will cause issues with known Anti-Virus software and may cause bluescreen due to the update changing kernel code and av software using the kernel code. Our servers all run on Intel CPU's, therefore when the update is released all our servers will be going down for this critical out of band update to be applied to the servers. We cannot guarantee that this will go smoothly, however, all our servers are backed up and snapshotted everyday so should anything go wrong we will intend to roll the update back but this can take time. We should have all servers back up and running for the Patrol tonight and the Operation on Saturday. We recommend you all update your PC's when the update is released to prevent this Vulnerability affecting you.
